Continental D-Series Drying Tumblers— Bringing Quick-Drying Convenience, Durability, and Performance to On-Premise Laundry Facilities. |
D-Series Drying Tumblers are designed with quality internal
components, quick-drying radial airflow, easy-to-use controls and a
multitude of features that can dramatically increase laundry production
and reduce linen wear. Available in 30-, 55-, and 80-pound capacities,
these workhorse machines are developed to cut labor time and boost
production and are backed by an industry-leading 3-year limited factory
warranty!
| Quick-Drying Radial Airflow D-Series Drying Tumblers are designed with radial airflow—a system that releases heated air from the top of the basket through linens as they rotate. The heated air is pushed through and around the linens—utilizing the tumbler's complete capacity. Efficient Drying is achieved through the proper balance of heat, airflow, and tumbling action. D-series dryers maximize these variables using large diameter, fully perforated drums for increased airflow and programmable temperatures up to 190 degrees! The result is fast and efficient drying—key to improved production. |
Programmable Controls Offer Optimum
Efficiency The D-Series Microprocessor Control Brings flexibility, ease of use, and energy efficiency to laundries. The control couldn't be simpler to navigate. By programming temperature, dry time and cool-down time, laundries can boost production, save utilities and meet the drying requirements of any type of load, whether drying towels, uniforms, rugs, sheets, bed spreads, or table linens. A clear digital display keeps attendants updated on dryer and load status and illuminates the time remaining until drying is complete. |

Durable A stainless steel backplate enhances machine durability and appearance for years to come. |
Easy-to-Use The programmable control with digital readout simplifies the process of doing laundry. |
An Investment Built to Last
| Exclusive Stainless Backplate D-Series dryers are built industrial strength, yet are gentle on fabric. The cylinder backplate is constructed using highly polished, annealed stainless steel. During the drying process, this patented backplate reduces friction between the tumbling linens and the cylinder and subsequently reduces linen wear. Plus, the tumbler's cylinder won't corrode, chip, crack or pit, which contributes to longer machine life. Fire Suppression System — Added Peace Of Mind At Continental Girbau, we're committed to the safety and profitability of our customers. That's why we provide an optional fire detection and extinguishing kit that can be added to any D-Series drying tumbler. The fire suppression system is designed to eliminate the risk of dryer fires caused by spontaneous combustion. Once sensors detect a dramatic increase in temperature, water is distributed into the dryer drum for approximately three minutes to ensure all laundry is saturated and the thread of fire is eliminated. |
Convenience = Productivity D-series dryers are designed to simplify maintenance and machine serviceability. A self-cleaning lint screen eliminates the hassles and labor time associated with routine lint removal. And, to cut downtime, all major components, including belts, motors, drive systems, utility connections and fans, are quickly accessible from the rear of the machine—making service calls less time consuming and costly. |
